The sauce made with wine, butter, and chicken broth cannot be beat. Third, I love how quick and easy it is to prepare! If you are having it with rice and vegetables, be sure to start them first, because once you start cooking, this chicken will be done in about 15 minutes.

All About Strawberry Shortcakes
Strawberry shortcake may be a 200 year-old American invention. With the advent of chemical leavenings in the early 1800?s, biscuits became popular. Since strawberries have always been readily available, it is likely that biscuits and strawberries have been together for quite some time. Before the middle of that century, strawberry shortcake recipes were showing up in the recipe books.

Sweet & Sour Fish
Sweet and sour fish is one of the most popular traditional Chinese dish, normally cooked with carp. The method to cook an authentic Chinese sweet and sour fish (Tang Tsu Yu) is to use what we call 'Liu', meaning 'quick-fry'. The fish should be tender inside and crispy outside. Its original flavour gets reserved while the unpleasant raw fish smell would be completely removed. Many Chinese families cook this dish on a regular basis. It is considered an universal dish that has been enjoyed by people from everywhere in China for many years.
Low Fat French Toast
French toast was one of my favorite breakfast foods when I was little. Dieting can be hard, especially when you can not enjoy many of the foods that you love. Here is a twist on the traditional french toast recipe, that once used to be high in fat. With just a few modifications you can turn french toast into a healthy food. I make this for my husband and he can not even tell that this is a low fat version. It's also been tested on Marines in my house and they loved it. So share it with your family and turn breakfast into a healthy meal.

Straight Talk from a Comfort Foodie - The Gravy Train
In all fairness to my mother and the great homemaker that she is, our family did enjoy the fruits of her "from scratch" dishes. She made great tuna fish sandwiches, and her pancake batter never had any lumps. Pepper steak from the electric wok was one of my favorites; I didn't care for the peppers, or the onions for that matter, but the thin slices of beef that had been soaked through and through with salty teriyaki sauce was right on the money. Come to think of it, that may have been the only dish that mom made that had sauce. I just seem to remember most of my childhood meals being very dry. I don't think she liked gravy much, because we never got it; which was the case with a lot of seemingly traditional foods.
Low-Carb Pastry Pizzazz
This delicious treat adds only 1.9 grams of carb for a Superb Roll of any size. Just add a glaze to the rolls once they are baked. While the rolls are baking, make ½ or ¼ of the below mentioned glaze. Apply the glaze thinly with a pastry brush to the tops of the hot rolls. It will set within minutes. The rolls will freeze well, even with the glaze. Thaw at room temperature or follow directions for heating in the oven.

Straight Talk from a Comfort Foodie - Fast Food
My parents lived for convenience when it came to feeding their children. I was a Beech-Nut kid, and breast-feeding wasn't my mother's idea of liberation. I was weaned on A&W root beer served by a car-hop at a local joint called "Suds n' Dogs." Dad was a cosmetic salesman, and, though he was raised in an orthodox Jewish household by a mother that adhered to the kosher principles, he lived on a steady diet of quick stop specialties regardless of their orientation.
